It runs snug, so measure first
Two buyers who usually wear XL needed a 2XL or 3XL. Measure your chest and check the table below before you order.

Trimmed Straight Fit
Cut straight through the body rather than narrowing at the waist. An adjustable belt inside the vest pulls it in around your middle, so it stays put and doesn't ride up when you lean into a turn, cast a line or hit chop.

Tight Fit = Safe Fit
It should feel snug when it's dry. It settles in once it's wet, and a loose vest can ride up or slip off when you hit the water.

Find your size
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, then check your weight:

• S: 92 cm chest, 40–60 kg
• M: 100 cm chest, 60–70 kg
• L: 104 cm chest, 70 kg+
• XL: 112 cm chest, 70 kg+
• 2XL: 118 cm chest, 70 kg+
• 3XL: 125 cm chest, 70 kg+
• 4XL: 145 cm chest, 70 kg+

Between sizes? Try both on over whatever you ride in. Zip it, clip the buckle, pull the inside belt snug and get a mate to lift it at the shoulders: it shouldn't ride up past your chin or ears.

Approved to Australian Standard AS 4758. The Red and Yellow are Level 50; the Black is Level 50S. They float the same; Level 50 comes in high-vis colours so you're easier to spot.

On the ski
Level 50S is accepted on a jet ski on smooth and enclosed water (rivers, lakes, dams and sheltered bays) in every state. Queensland requires Level 50 on a jet ski in partially smooth and open water, and Tasmania requires Level 100 or above beyond sheltered water.

Going further out?
A personal locator beacon (PLB) lets you call for help if you and your ski get separated. The Venture Plus has an exposed belt to carry one. Check your state's rules for the safety gear you need on the water you ride.

Look after it
Rinse it in fresh water after every sesh, including inside the waterproof pocket's seal, dry it out of the sun, keep it away from fuel and store it hung up, not crushed under the esky. Check the zip, buckles and foam before you ride, and replace it if it's torn, crushed or badly faded.
